I'm listening to the rain outside while I write this. I've always loved the sound of rain. My thumb piano makes the same sound too. We had some stormy weather recently so I started working on learning new editing softwares for deep-sky imaging. Learning to use a new software is fun and painful (in my head) at the same time. Anyway, here is my recent outtakes.
I went for a walk around the lake to find some epic rocks (yes, we are that cool...) the other night. I don't know how far we walked but I found some pretty cool rocks along the way... (If this speaks to you, you're my friend.)
Time always seems to stop when I’m beneath the stars. I feel safe.
Somebody asked me why I started doing photography the other day. My grandfather got me into photography when I was 10 years old. I told him I want to be a photographer like him. He bought me my first film camera. I've never stopped since then. He passed away seven years after that and took away all the bad things in our family with him. Life is so uncertain and I've been away from home for so long I sometimes don't even know where I belong to anymore. The only thing I know is I will always love photography and that makes me happy. Nights like these make me think of my granddad and be thankful of my family.
It's funny how you wake up each day and never really know if it'll be the day that will change your life forever.
Hope everyone's having a great week.
